Our goal is to help build confidence and help our community preserve life and prevent further injury to the best of their ability. All of our workshops are broken down into 4 components: Learning, Practice, Drill/Scenario Based Training, Q&A.

911-Emergency: CPR Workshop This workshop focuses on how and when to activate EMS, along with how and when to start and end CPR. We will also learn about choking and how to recognize and treat on adults. Duration: 2.5 hours Cost: $25 Certification: No

Infant Choking and Allergy Workshop This 2.5 hour workshop focuses on how to recognize and treat infant choking and major allergies (anaphylaxis). This seminar is strongly recommended for families with young children and infants as new foods and feeding practices are being introduced at this stage. Resources will be available. Bumps, Breaks, Bangs: Major Sports Related Injuries PART 1 From broken bones, to concussions, and spinals. First day focuses on how to recognize and treat fractured bones, joint injuries/dislocations and minor wound care. Duration: 2.5 hours Cost: $25 Certification: No

Bumps, Breaks, Bangs: Major Sports Related Injuries PART 2 Second day focuses on how to recognize and treat head injuries, spinal injuries, and facial injuries. Duration: 2.5 hours Cost: $25 Certification: No

Major Bleeds! : Wound Care This workshop focuses on how to recognize and treat major wounds, chest wounds, head wounds, and shock management. Duration: 2.5 hours Cost: $25 Certification: No

Our workshops are by no means a replacement for Basic or Intermediate First Aid. Participants and community members are encouraged to allow these workshops peek their interest and desire for greater learning or to reinforce knowledge that is already present.
